Sue started the agency because she believes there is an ever growing demand for this kind of music.
She has had over thirty years experience playing for ceilidhs, club
dances, festivals and barn dances and so she is well qualified to
know what is required to play for these events.
The Agency is based in the North West of England and covers areas such as The Wirral, Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire and North Wales. However, we can provide bands throughout the North and sometimes further afield.
Sue plays regularly in her 3 main bands - these are The West Kirby
Country Dance Band, The Lowlands Fiddle Band and Schottische, the
first of which has been in existence for over 40 years and is led
by her father, John Stapledon. The second is a relatively newer
set up, now being in their ninth year. The third, Schottische, is
a piano / keyboard / fiddle and accordion duo with her band colleague
Les, known as Schottishe.
